The introduction of Ellison Windows and Doors has been over 50 years in the making. The company began in 1946 as The Aluminum Products Company and, with the emerging dominance of vinyl through 1992, the company changed its name to APC Building Products. In 1997, the company took the name of its parent company to reflect its mission to become the world class manufacturer of vinyl replacement and new construction windows and doors.
